With a background in Real Estate, we knew that having information about who was building and making the buying decisions in the construction industry would be of a benefit to a large sector, both professional and trades people selling their services and products. In our search for a home business, we came across a company called Confax which was started by two ex-realtors in 1994. The partnership had dissolved and they were looking to sell. Perfect timing! We jumped right in!
Excited about our new venture, we began a total revamp of the existing website and expanded the permit areas to cover the entire Lower Mainland, from Chilliwack to Whistler. With a new look and a new name, ConFacts was launched in November 2004.
Over the years we have listened to our members and have grown in keeping with their requests, by adding more areas, both PDF & EXCEL formats, and more contact information. We were very happy to launch our new website in 2015 – which is now mobile friendly with added email contacts and Google search mapping!
ConFacts is forever evolving, while continuing to offer exceptional service at a cost-effective price. Our members are an extension of our family and we take much pleasure when a past member returns, knowing that they can always find us when they need us. Word of Mouth, Referrals and returning Past Members are a big part of our small business and that says a lot!
